The 2025 Springwood Sanctuary Calendar will be the same beautiful format as last year's as this was so popular and successful. We were really delighted how it turned out. Everyone who bought one agreed and gave us such lovely feedback - thank you all for your support!

If you'd like one of our beautiful calendars for next year, they need to be ordered now. This is because we are only going to be printing the number of calendars we have pre-orders for.

Why are we only selling pre- orders? :
Limiting out print run to pre-orders means that we can get them sent out to you at the end of November - before the hard winter work with the horses begins in December. As soon as we start feeding hay, our workload of mucking out and clearing tracks, yards, barns and shelters greatly increases. Extra feeds, herb and supplement selection are needed too. Your calendar payments will enormously help with all these additional costs for our 21 horses and 2 donkeys.
The photographs:
We're busy choosing images, which is really tricky as we have so many gorgeous ones on the land and horses to select from! We'll be using stunning photographs taken by the incredibly talented Georgina Weston Photography again for next year's Springwood calendar.
Last year's fundraising:
We fundraised an absolutely whopping £1207 from the sales of this year's calendar, which was so urgently needed. With so many extra mouths to feed, we were completely desperate for help paying the extra hay, hoof trimming, feed, fencing and vets bills.
Having taking in an extra 12 horses last summer as an emergency rescue from a therapy project that had closed down, we were unexpectedly left with 100% responsibility for them. Thank you everyone who supported the horses by buying a calendar for themselves and as beautiful gifts.
About sustainability and meeting our vegan principles:
Obviously we really wanted to be true to our values and make sure our calendar was 100% ethically & sustainably printed and top quality. Sadly it was really hard to find someone who could do all this and guarantee a high quality finished product. After much searching, eventually we discovered PARK Communications, award winning environmental and sustainable printers. They have been able to meet all our exacting standards of using 100% recycled paper, vegan inks, regenerative energy in the printing process, no toxic oils, glosses or chemicals etc. PARK were so helpful and created the 2024 calendar which we are proud of - so of course we'll be using them again for our 2025 calendar.
